Did a lot of updates on the back-end today, updating various plugins. Players should not notice any difference. This is more about small bugs, and server security.

Added a new plugin today that spawns a gravestone when you die. Find and destroy your gravestone to retrieve your items.

The last of the troublesome plugins were finally updated, so I was able to update the server to version 1.16.4.

I will not yet be updating the server to 1.16.4, as many of the plugins in use on our server are not yet compatible. This is a minor update from 1.16.3, so I anticipate those plugins being updated soon. Until… (Read more)

Minecraft 1.17, the “Caves and Cliffs” update, is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2021. Given all of the new content that will be introduced with this update, this will be a good time for a server reset…. (Read more)

Spigot was particularly speedy with this update, and released theirs this morning. We’re fully up to date now.

Minecraft version 1.15, officially titled “The Busy Bee update”, will be released tomorrow, December 10th. Spigot, the developers that provide the server software used on this server, have not yet announced when their 1.15 update will be available. So until… (Read more)
